Here are some spring festivals including schedules and directions.

Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival

Location : Jeju Citizen Welfare Town area of Jeju-si, Jeju-do Province

Description :

The Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival is a harmony of cherry trees and music. The festivities begin with a street parade followed by B-boy performances and shows by popular singers. The festival ends with an exciting fireworks display on the final day.

Transportation :
1.Take bus #100 from Jeju Airport to Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal. (6:57am~10:10pm, departs every 10~20min). Transfer to bus #5 at Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal and get off at Health Center.
2.Take a taxi from Jeju Airport to Event Venue (about 4,000won / 10 mins).

Jinhae Gunhangje Festival
Location : Jinhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do Province

Description :

During the Jinhae Gunhang Festival, 350,000 cherry trees blossom nearby the Marine Military Academy, Yeojwacheon Stream, and Gyeonghwa Station, producing a splendid sight. A ceremony commemorating General Yi Sun-shin and a military parade take place among cherry blossoms. During the festival period, the Cherry Blossom City Tour Bus provides visitors a convenient transportation option.

Transportation
From Seoul station, take a train to Changwon station (8:25am~6:25pm, 5 trains daily / est. travel time of 5hrs 30min).
From Changwon Station, you can take a shuttle train that operates during the festival period to Jinhae station(8:38am~8:34pm, 4 trains daily / est. travel time of 20min).
From Jinhae Station, it is a 2 to 3 minutes walk to the festival grounds.

Icheon Baeksa Sansuyu (Cornus Fruit) Blossom Festival
Location : Dorip-ri Gyeongsa-ri, Songmal-ri, Baeksa-myeon region, Icheon city, Gyeonggi-do Province

Description :

Visitors to this festival enjoy walking amongst the 100-year-old flowering sansuyu (cornus fruit) trees. Festival events include the sansuyu parade, and traditional folk games such as Tuho (arrow-throwing game) and Geunetagi (swing riding). There is a photo exhibition and other cultural events, as well as hands-on programs to make soap and rice cakes with sansuyu.

Transportation :
From Dong Seoul Terminal, take a direct bus to Icheon terminal (buses run from 6:10am-11:00pm, departs every 20min-40min / est. travel time of 1hr). From the terminal, take a complimentary shuttle bus from the Grand Wedding Hall Shuttle Bus Stop (starting from 10:00am buses depart every 30-40mins) to the festival grounds.

Yeouido Spring Flower Festival
Location : : Near Yeouido National Assembly Building and the surrounding areas of Yunjungno & Yeouido in Seoul

Description :

The Yeouido Spring Flower Festival is held every April when cherry blossoms are in full bloom. The street behind the National Assembly Building, called Yunjung-ro, is lined with 1,400 cherry trees and is the most famous cherry blossom street in Seoul. Visitors can stroll next to the Han River through a tunnel of these magnificent trees. There are also Street Cultural Arts Performances, a flower decoration exhibition, and a photo exhibition.

Jeju Canola Flower Festival
Location : Noksanro and Daeroksan areas, Gasi-ri, Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do

Description :

The Jeju Canola Flower Festival is a major festival of Jeju Island that draws a large group of tourists every year. A magnificent field of canola stretches 10 kilometers on both sides of Noksan-ro Road. Walking, hiking and bicycling events are organized along the road.

Transportation
1.From Seoul to Jeju-do Take a plane bound for Jeju from Gimpo International Airport (take subway line No.5 to Gimpo Airport Station)
2.From Jeju International Airport Take a taxi to event venue (about 20,000won)

Cheongpunghoban Cherry Blossom Festival
Location : Cheongpungho Lake area, Jecheon-si, Chungcheongbuk-do Province

Description:

The Cheongpunghoban Cherry Blossom Festival is held along the 13 kilometer road by Cheongpungho Lake, where thousands of mature cherry trees sit in waiting. Various shows and performances are scheduled, including a cherry blossom street concert, a magic show, and a dance parade. Visitors can also take part in samplings of Oriental teas and food made of wild herbs. Near the venue are the Cheongpung Cultural Property Complex, a TV drama filming location, and bungee jump sites.

Transportation
From the Dong Seoul Terminal, take a bus to Jecheon Terminal (6:30am~9:00pm, departs every 10min~30min / est. travel time of 2hrs).
From the terminal, take a city bus (departs every hour, est. travel time of 40min) or a taxi (est. travel time of 30min, around 25,000 won) to the festival grounds.

Hampyeong Butterfly Festival
Location : Hampyeong Expo Park area, Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do Province

Description :

The Hampyeong Butterfly Festival is held on over 8,300 acres of land in Jeollanam-do Province. Visitors are delighted by the sight of tens of thousands of butterflies flying among the canola blossoms. Check out the halls of butterflies, insects, and agriculture to explore some 20 types of butterflies and see the process of growing crops. Also organized are theatrical plays on the environment, percussion performances, and children programs to learn about cattle herding and insect ecology.

Transportation
From Seoul Central City Terminal, take a bus headed towards Hampyeong.(The bus is available 8:35, 14:30, 16:40 / est. travel time of 4hrs 20min.) From Hampyeong Bus Terminal, you can either walk (10 minutes) or take a taxi (5 minutes) to the Expo Park.
